Bonnell’s Fine Texas Cuisine Ft. Worth, TX (Latin)

Jon Bonnell is admired as a community-driven restaurateur. Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, he spent most of his life pursuing his love for cooking within his hometown. Since 2001, Chef Bonnell has been providing award-winning dining experiences at his signature restaurant, Bonnell’s Fine Texas  Cuisine. In 2013, Chef Bonnell opened his second restaurant, Waters Restaurant. He also owns a  restaurant called Buffalo Bros and is the Celebrity Chef for Texas Christian University’s stadium. Chef  Bonnell’s fusion of Creole, Southwestern, and Mexican flavors leaves much to look forward to during a  trip to one of his establishments.

The farm-to-table concept menu uses locally sourced ingredients including meat, seafood, cheeses, and herbs. Bonnell’s most popular dish, the Elk Tenderloin, offers a Texan twist on a wild game favorite. The creamy risotto, as well as fresh asparagus, is a perfect pairing for the elk. A delicious seafood option is a redfish, perfectly cooked with a pecan crust and a buttery sauce with a pecan crust. Fans of spicy dishes will love the Green Chile Cheese Grits and Fried Poblano Rings. A nod to Chef Bonnell’s Texan roots, the Crispy Quail Legs are a fine dining play on traditional fried chicken and are a great way to start your meal. For guests searching for a lighter option, the Shaved Brussel Sprout Salad is sure to provide a  fresh and filling experience.

Bonnell’s has been highly regarded for the safety measures taken since the beginning of the pandemic as well as the multiple avenues for enjoying his cuisine. He satisfied members of his community by providing online ordering, family-style meals, curbside, and even a drive-through option. Bonnell’s has and continues to set the standard for dining during COVID-19.

A Texas classic – Bonnell’s is sure to provide you with a memorable experience.
