Chef: Jose Andres

Jose Andres is a highly awarded chef widely known for bringing the “small plates” concept to American cuisine. Andres is a culinary innovator, chef, and scientist, as he seeks to make each dish its own distinct work of art by incorporating molecular gastronomy into his meals. Andres is the only chef that has both a two-star Michelin restaurant and four Bib Gourmands. He has also been named as one of Time Magazines “100 Most Influential People” in 2018.

Minibar by Jose Andres is a culinary experience unlike any other. Unlike a typical restaurant, Minibar by Jose Andres seeks to make your dining an interactive, theater-like experience from start to finish. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by staff and offered a snack of margherita pizza and a glass of cava. From here, you are brought to sit in front of an open kitchen where you will enjoy watching the staff prepare each course. You are encouraged to ask questions of the chef and other staff throughout the experience which makes this meal truly interactive. Minibar offers a Chef’s Table Tasting Menu as opposed to a traditional menu, and guests can expect to enjoy 20+ different bite-sized courses throughout their time in the restaurant. Some of the works of art you can expect to enjoy at Minibar are edible butterflies made from beet flower and yogurt nestled on branches, Hokkaido Uni in an Iberico Droplet, Parmesan Spoons Topped with Caviar, Cornchata, and Beeswax Ice Cream, Cotton Candy, and a Golden Egg to name only a few. Guests can choose between a wine pairing, juice pairing, or from a vast cocktail menu sure to please any palate. Guests should prepare to spend two to three hours when dining at Minibar and are sure to leave with memories and stories to tell.
